Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. Stratford County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you email us or submit a contact message, we keep the message and return details as needed to respond. We do not share that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Visit Data
Routine server, analytics, or advertising systems may gather technical information when a page loads. That information can include:
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- Date and time stamps
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies help measure visits and understand how readers use the site. You may block or remove cookies through browser controls. Some site, analytics, search, or advertising functions may then work differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information supports a limited set of operating purposes:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Sending a search request to the selected partner
- Understanding which Stratford release resources readers use
- Diagnosing errors, abuse, and other technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Other Websites and Services
Links may lead to Stratford Police, CT DOC, courts, release records, federal locators, supervision offices, or outside search services. Once you leave this site, the destination's own privacy policy and data practices apply.
Advertising providers may use their systems to recognize activity across multiple websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking occurs through the provider's technology, not a records database maintained by Stratford County Released Inmates.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still pass to parties that operate or lawfully oversee a service:
- Search partners that process a submitted query
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks serving or measuring ads
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Has Practical Limits
We use standard, reasonable safeguards for the information under our control. No internet connection, storage service, or website can be promised as fully secure or immune from a breach.
Visitors Under Eighteen
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may contact us to request deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and whether we hold the information, you may:
- Ask for a copy of personal data held about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Ask that eligible personal data be deleted
- Object to or opt out of certain processing
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Notice as services or practices change. A revision becomes effective when it is posted here with an updated effective date.
